What my wonderful students say

"I have been learning about the wonderful world of ceramics with Judy Wood for about a year.  I always look forward to my visit to her tranquil studio in the bush and have met some interesting people in the process.  She is a very talented, patient, inspiring and generous teacher. I am improving all the time and have every intention of carrying on. Judy’s own work is fascinating and I have recently purchased one of her larger pieces for my garden and absolutely love it. She is one of life’s gems."

Anne H

"Judy is the most wonderful person and pottery teacher. She has taught me to enjoy the process, and that our creations don’t have to be perfect. I’ve been taking Judy’s pottery classes for just over a year now, and I look forward to them every week. The energy and atmosphere she has created is incredibly calming and enjoyable. Judy is welcoming, kind, generous and very caring (not to mention extremely talented and knowledgeable about clay). I’m very grateful to be learning from her, and couldn’t ask for a better pottery teacher."

Waimarie D

"Judy is one of the kindest people I’ve been blessed to share creative space with. I feel so lucky to have had the opportunity to be a part of Judy’s pottery classes. Judy welcomed me in like a friend, openly shares all of her knowledge, and encouraged all of my creations. One of the most extraordinary things about Judy is her openness to learn new things from her students even with all her experience and knowledge, which as a student is so refreshing."
